Dr. Sharon Marie May, Sr. Manager, Leadership Development – Management Sciences for Health

Sharon Marie MayFor more than 25 years, Dr. May has been supporting successful performance improvement initiatives in global technology, government, services, nonprofit, retail, higher education and light manufacturing. She holds a BS in Business with a dual major in Psychology from SUNY College at Buffalo, an MEd in Human Resource Education from Boston University, and a PhD in Instructional Design, Development and Evaluation from Syracuse University.

Dr. May’s professional certifications include the American Society for Quality’s Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) and the International Society for Performance Improvement’s Certified Performance Technologist (CPT). She is also a long time member of the American Evaluation Association. Her research interests include the factors that influence successful implementation of performance improvement initiatives in organizations, and the use of diffusion analysis to facilitate adoption of change by individuals, groups, and societies. Currently, Sharon is in charge of development for project and country leaders at Management Sciences for Health.
